The meeting will take place on 3rd December and 4th December 2020 at the Vienna International Centre (Board Room C).

The event will be an opportunity for Member States to vote on the World Health Organization Expert Committee on Drug Dependence recommendations on the scheduling of cannabis and related substances.

The WHO ECDD recommended that cannabis and associated substances in the UN Conventions of 1961 and 1971 are rescheduled to facilitate their trade for medicinal and scientific purposes.
