The conference, organised jointly by Scottish Drugs Forum and Crew, will focus on the new trends of drug use in Scotland and feature the launch of the findings from three studies.
The Conference is a global forum at which all those involved in road safety research, policy, education, enforcement and injury prevention, particularly from the fields of drugs and alcohol, can meet with researchers, academics and professionals to discuss and present on the latest work being undertaken in the field.
This study focuses on synthetic cannabinoids, the epidemiological background on the latest new drugs in Europe or the presence of these new drugs in drivers.
The focus of the symposium will be on capacity building for research, hence young researchers in the social and health sciences and education and experienced researchers with new data to present are particularly invited to participate.
The 2013 Breaking convention conference will feature ten symposia of invited speakers and a track dedicated to talks from submitted abstracts, as well as galleries, exhibitions, films and evening entertainments.
World’s leading scientists, clinicians, implementers, public health experts and community leaders will examine the latest developments in HIV-related research to prevent and treat HIV, particularly in low and middle-income countries.
The symposium will bring together senior, mid-career and junior scientists, clinical researchers, scientific journalists, research funding administrators and community representatives.
