The international congress on drugs: Law, health and society

O evento vai fomentar o intercâmbio entre a sociedade e reconhecidos representantes do Brasil e do mundo nas diversas áreas do conhecimento relacionadas ao tema. Especialistas do Brasil, América Latina, Europa e Estados Unidos vão discutir, com representantes da sociedade civil, sobre segurança pública, política, educação, cultura, medicina e saúde pública. O congresso visa também a contribuir para o aperfeiçoamento de profissionais graduados de diversas áreas do conhecimento e para a formação de estudantes, educadores e futuros profissionais dessas áreas. Mais especificamente, temos como objetivo geral consolidar, documentar e fornecer ao governo, aos profissionais, aos estudantes e à sociedade, subsídios técnico-científicos capazes de alicerçar o debate e indicar caminhos concretos e alternativas que minimizem as consequências negativas da atual política de guerra às drogas e criminalização de usuários. O congresso será composto por conferências científicas e mesas redondas temáticas interdisciplinares. Estas atividades não deverão ser simultâneas, para possibilitar o intercâmbio entre os participantes das diversas áreas e sua exposição aos mais diferentes pontos de vista sobre questões que envolvem o uso de drogas psicoativas. O congresso também contará com exposição de arte e shows musicais. O evento vai fomentar o intercâmbio entre a sociedade e reconhecidos representantes do Brasil e do mundo nas diversas áreas do conhecimento relacionadas ao tema.
