We are currently witnessing the beginning of the end of drug prohibition, with alternatives such as harm reduction, decriminalization, and legal regulation of cannabis, cocaine, psychedelics, ketamine, and MDMA/ecstasy on the agenda of governments across the world.

This provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build markets that prioritise justice, equity, and sustainability. By learning from past mistakes and collaborating across sectors, we can create drug policies that benefit people, protect the environment, and strengthen societies. Our series of briefings outline the key opportunities posed by emergent drug reforms, and how they can be shaped to deliver equity across nine areas of social justice.
