SSDP will host a simulation of the upcoming UNGASS on drugs. Which will serve as a way for students to become familiar with the ins and outs of global drug policy reform during the months leading up to (the real) UNGASS 2016.
The conference calls on people who committed to finding alternatives to the war on drugs to participate the sections given by leading experts from around the world.
This symposium provides an invaluable opportunity for local authorities, criminal justice and legal practitioners, police and probation services, and welfare services to review and evaluate past reforms and explore how future policy in tackling female reoffending can be shaped.
Please join us for the launch of a new policy report from United Nations University, What Comes After the War on Drugs?, exploring the upcoming UN General Assembly Special Session on the World Drug Problem in April 2016.
