United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

The 2024 World Drug Report presents the latest global, regional, and subregional estimates and trends in drug demand and drug supply in a user-friendly, interactive online format with a view to enhance and simplify access to the wealth of information made available. The Report also offers an in-depth analysis of specific topics including: the intersection of drug and other crimes in the Golden Triangle and their impact on the environment and communities; the recent drug ban in Afghanistan and its impact in the country and beyond; regulatory changes and market developments in relation to cannabis and psychedelics; gender dynamics and synthetic drugs; and a conceptual framework of the right to health in the context of drug use. A summary of key findings, special points of interest and policy implications will also be part of the Report’s package.

On 26 June 2024, at 1pm Vienna time in Board-Room D (VIC), the Chair of the 67th session of the CND will hold an event to mark the World Drug Day and to launch the 2024 World Drug Report.
