Mainline

Mainline's mission is to improve the health and quality of life of substance users worldwide. Mainline's international work is rooted in the experience in working with Dutch substance users. Mainline took the responsibility for the information and education of substance users and of professionals that worked with these substance users, starting from a harm reduction perspective. To bridge the gap between these two worlds Mainline started a glossy Magazine that informs and empowers substance users, but also has become very popular amongst professionals. Together with outreach work the magazine is still a fruitful mix to know the people that are using drugs, their lives and needs and give them a powerful voice. With this experience Mainline became an expert in outreach work, in harm reduction, in development of refreshing and effective informational materials. In accordance with this experience professionals and policy makers were also targeted at with the aim to create an enabling environment.
