The conference, organised by Intercambios, will take place on June 7, 2012, in Room Azul of the Honorable Senate of the Nation, located on Hipólito Yrigoyen 1849, City of Buenos Aires.
Started in 2003, the National Conference on Drug Policy has become a platform for discussion and elaboration on proposed improvements or amendments.
The General Objectives of the Conference are:
- Start an informed social debate with the intention of inspiring non-punitive policies that are scientifically based and respond efficiently to the diverse problems associated with drugs.
- Generate an exchange on a national level between academics and politicians with the purpose of maintaining updated information on the consumption of drugs, problems associated with consumption, policies and interventions.
Registration is open until June 1 or until all vacancies are filled. Registration is free.
