Youth RISE and the United Nations

Youth RISE co-faciliated a UNESCO internal workshop on young key affected populations, training staff on young people who use drugs, harm reduction and drug policy reform.
The UN Inter-Agency Task Team on HIV and Young People was recently held in Harare, Zimbabwe. Youth RISE participated in the meeting and was re-elected as co-chair of the Harm Reduction Working Group of the Task Team.
The World Health Organisation has been developing HIV prevention, treatment and care guidelines for adolescents and we provided expertise on young people who use drugs for the development of more effective guidelines.
