Dr. Tamika Peart, PhD, is a distinguished leader in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Through her commitment to academia and the advancement of the Caribbean's social development architecture, Dr. Peart has established herself as a vital force in shaping progressive change. She currently serves as a Senior Policy Advisor, Assistant Professor, and Executive Director of House of Gwen, Jamaica—exemplifying a dedication to nation-building that extends beyond her professional roles to encompass extensive voluntary service and activism.

Dr. Peart is widely recognized for tireless efforts to empower children and women, particularly through sustainable development initiatives across Jamaica. Her voluntary leadership spans diverse platforms, including forums, charitable events, workshops, and community projects, all strategically aligned with Jamaica’s national social development goals.

A lifelong Social Development Consultant, Dr. Peart has chaired numerous boards and remains a highly sought-after in the field. Her innovative approach incorporates gender as a cross-cutting theme within all of her work, providing inspiration and mentorship to young people throughout Jamaica, the Caribbean, and beyond.
