Time of change: Global movement towards access to hepatitis C treatment

Co-infection with hepatitis C and HIV is growing public health concern. HCV infection affects 20% of people living with HIV worldwide (WHO, 2012). HCV can complicate HIV treatment and accelerate the progression of HIV disease. HCV can become a leading cause of death among people living with HIV.

On the eve of World AIDS Day 2012, Eurasian Harm Reduction Network presents the fifth edition of EHRN‘s newsletter "The Voice of Harm Reduction“, which is devoted to Hepatitis C topic.
