Impaired judgment: Assessing the appropriateness of drug treatment courts as a response to drug use in Canada

6 July 2012

The purpose of this report by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network is to critically examine drug treatment courts (DTCs) in Canada using the available evidence, which includes process and outcome evaluations of existing DTCs, grey literature and academic research. Our assessment is also informed by interviews with a number of key informants who interact with DTCs in various ways.
