Tobacco is one of the most commonly used drugs, with an estimated 1100 million regular smokers in the world today. It is also one of the most harmful, yet little attention has been paid to how these harms could be reduced - the general message to smokers is "quit or die". This online collection aims to highlight the 50 papers which best summarise the evidence-base, reasoning and justification for tobacco harm reduction, and then provide free access to these resources for researchers, policy-makers, advocates or anyone interested in the field.
