International Narcotics Control Board re-elects President and elects new officers

The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) has re-elected Professor Jallal Toufiq as its President at its 140th session.

INCB commenced its 140th session on 20 May with a meeting of its Standing Committee on Estimates, which reviewed estimated requirements for controlled substances for medical, scientific and industrial purposes as submitted by governments.

On 22 May, the Board re-elected Professor Jallal Toufiq as its President and elected a new Bureau for a one-year term
