Thailand war on drugs failure

Drug trafficking in the so-called Golden Triangle region of Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand is an evolving threat. A China-led anti-drug campaign in the three countries has helped stem the surging drug activity, with more than 1,000 arrests and 3 tonnes of drugs seized since April. But for Thailand, the war against narcotics appears to be far from won.
