Webinar: Applying for ECOSOC consultative status

The NGO Branch, at the Office of Intergovernmental Support and Coordination for Sustainable Development in UN DESA, is hosting a briefing session on applying for ECOSOC consultative status.

The session will be conducted on 3 May 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm (NYT).

The session will provide information on the process of applying for consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Organisations interested in applying for consultative status with ECOSOC can submit their application before the deadline, 1 June 2022.

Applications are accepted throughout the year however the timeline to review your application will depend on when your application is received by the NGO Branch of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). For example, applications submitted by 1 June 2022 will be taken up by the Committee on NGOs in 2023. Applications received between 2 June 2022 and 1 June 2023 will be taken up in the year 2024.
