Vulnerable young people, sexual and reproductive health and substance use

This conference will explore the inter-connected areas of substance use and sexual and reproductive health in vulnerable young people.
The conference will feature keynote speakers and interactive workshops and will represent an opportunity to hear and share perspectives on these issues and how they relate to vulnerable young people and on good practice being developed in services.

The conference will explore:

  • Adverse childhood events and trauma.
  • Gender differences in working with young people.
  • Issues around sexual and ethnic identity and disability and engaging with services.
  • Working with young people who have been looked after and accommodated and/or been involved in the criminal justice system
