11th National Harm Reduction Conference

10 July 2015

The National Harm Reduction Conference has been a unique venue for those interested in understanding drug use, drug users and the philosophy and practice of harm reduction since 1996.

The biennial conference is the only conference of its kind in the United States. For four days a diverse community of peer and outreach workers, drug users, social justice activists, service providers, health care workers, researchers, law enforcement and policymakers and others will participate in panel discussions, workshops, roundtables, town hall meetings and come together to address the most urgent issues facing the harm reduction movement.

Conference objectives include:

  • Providing safe forums for the exchange of information
  • Sharing of strategies and technical information on program development and implementation
  • Presentation of the most innovative harm reduction services and policies

Most importantly the National Harm Reduction Conference provides an opportunity for national dialogue between individuals from diverse disciplines.

Other conference highlights include:

  • Wellness space
  • Film Festival
  • Fashion show
  • Trivia night
  • West vs. East soccer game.
