Sex, drugs and a rocky war: A panel discussion on gender and drugs

This panel discussion will take place on Thursday, 17 November 2011 at the Centre for Culture, Media and Creative Industries (CMCI), Room 7C, Chesham Building, King's College London, Stand Campus, WC2R 2LS.

Panel presenters and topics will include:

  • Jane Slater - Operations and Funding Manager, Transform Drug Policy Foundation - "Gender: Counting the Costs of the Drug War"
  • Francesca Tronco Garcia - former member of the United Nations Office for the High Commissioner of Human Rights in Mexico - "Obscurity and Impunity: An Overview of the Gendered Effects of the Militarization Under the Mexican War on Drugs"
