World leaders will meet in New York, USA, on the 4th and 5th October 2010 to announce their financial contributions to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the coming three years. Your support is urgently needed to ensure that world leaders make good on their promises to provide treatment, care and support to the millions living with and/or affected by HIV and AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The Global Fund needs to raise USD 20 billion in order to maintain, accelerate and effectively scale-up its work. Let world leaders know that we will be watching them in New York.
Demand that they commit the USD 20 billion necessary to continue the work of the Global Fund.
Show them we care about the millions who will die unnecessarily without these resources.
To show your support, please sign the petition and urge your friends, families, colleagues, and networks to do the same.
We need 500,000 signatures by Thursday 30th September 2010!
The petition will be delivered to world leaders at the Replenishment Meeting, and is one of a number of actions that will be occurring around the world in the lead up to the meeting.
