The 10th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference has been confirmed for Thursday 29 September – Saturday 1 October, Gold Coast Queensland, Australia.

The program is expected to begin at 1.30pm Thursday 29 September and conclude at 3pm Saturday 1 October.

The Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference is the leading multidisciplinary Viral Hepatitis conference in Australasia. The conference is held biennially and was most recently held in Alice Springs 2014, Auckland 2012 and in Melbourne 2010.

10th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and experience related to psychedelics in a diverse group of people, ranging from traditional experts and scientists to the grassroots. The event will provide an outside-the-box discussion on the approaches to working with psychedelics and on the equivocal position these substances hold in our modern society. Generally, we will be trying to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience, incorporate cross-cultural perspectives, and create new synergies.

"Our philosophy is to achieve a balance of different contexts, topics and purposes of psychedelics and their use; we would therefore like to encourage you to submit more abstracts in different areas. We also want to make it explicit that we are more than happy to address issues that are not commonly talked about, so abstracts on less conventional topics are more than welcome."

The deadline for abstract submission is 21th June 2016.
