ICSDP Report - Effect of drug law enforcement on drug-related violence: evidence from a scientific review

20 May 2010

The International Centre for Science in Drug Policy (ICSDP) released its first report, Effect of drug law enforcement on drug-related violence: evidence from a scientific review in April 2010. The report revealed that rather than reducing drug related violence, drug law enforcement likely leads to more violence, gun offenses and homicide. It attracted extensive media attention and the support of academics, commentators and clinicians from across the political spectrum. The full report is available here.

Summaries of the report in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian and are also available here.
