Christopher Hallam works part-time as Research and Analysis Officer for IDPC, providing research, drafting and analytical skills to the secretariat. He has published in both grey and academic literature.

Mr. Hallam is also a PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he is researching the ‘British System’ of heroin prescribing and the doctors and drug subcultures involved in it. Prior to joining IDPC, he worked as a research assistant on the Randomised Injectable Opioid Therapy Trial at the Maudsley Hospital/National Addiction Centre, and has worked as a researcher at other NGOs in the drugs policy field.
