Iglesia Evangélica Protestante de El Salvador (IEPES)

IEPES is an inclusive Christian branch in El Salvador associated with the Third-World Priests Mission. IEPES promotes the leadership, empowerment, respect and freedom of people. Our members argue that coercive therapies and repressive methods that have been implemented to "overcome" drug-related problems are obsolete. A fundamental part of our work is to support people and groups who are excluded and we fight for equal rights for a clear inter- faith and brotherhood. Since 2012, IEPES has been involved in promoting drug policy change in El Salvador, including the decriminalisation of drug use and access to harm reduction services.
