We would like to inform you that the 60th Regular Session of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) will take place on November 2-4, 2016 in Paradise Island, The Bahamas. Please find attached the draft agenda and the information bulletin of the event.

Civil society organizations registered with the OAS that would like to attend the 60th Regular Session of CICAD should send a letter addressed to the Secretary General of the OAS, expressing their interest to attend, and the names of the representatives of the organization (maximum of 2) to the email address civilsociety@oas.com no later than Friday, October 28, 2016.

In addition, the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (SE/CICAD) will host a lunchtime dialogue with civil society that will take place on Thursday November 3rd, 2016 at 12:00 pm, within the framework of the 60th Regular Session of CICAD with the theme Civil Society Engagement & the Fundamentals of Drug Policy for Sustainable Development & Criminal Justice Reform. Please find attached the Agenda of the dialogue. We request that you kindly confirm your participation in this meeting and send the name of your representatives toahenao@oas.org by close of business on Friday, October 28th, 2016.

Please take into account that civil society representatives will be responsible for covering their own expenses related to their stay in The Bahamas, including accommodation, transportation, meals and other incidentals.
