The 63rd Session of the XXXCommission on Drugs etc etcXXXX (CICAD) took place from X to X april. As part of the official proceedings, a meeting of the CICAD’s working group on the Implementation of the UNGASS 2016 recommendation was convened. To supplement discussions by Member States, civil society representatives were invited to deliver relevant statements. Ann Fordham (IDPC), Lisa Sánchez (MUCD) and Zara Snapp (ATS) highlighted remaining challenges in recalibrating drug policies to ensure they respond to public health, human rights and development challenges.
