Global Prison Trends 2021 is Penal Reform International’s annual flagship report published with the Thailand Institute of Justice, identifying the key trends and challenges in prison systems worldwide. Over a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, this launch event will present key findings from the report and explore trends in the global prison population, prison policy and practice, and ongoing challenges for prison management.
