International conference "25 years of International Research into drug use"

12 September 2013

Between 25 and 27 September 2013, the International Federation of Catholic Universities’ Center for Coordination of Research is organising an international conference entitled “25 years of international research in the field of drug use/abuse. Cross-cultural views on 5 key issues” at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon).

This international conference has a double aim: firstly to celebrate and reconstitute these 25 years of work and commitment in this area. Secondly, to open up debate and publicise the scientific results of the latest research project: “Analysis of policies and practices in the area of the use and abuse of drugs. Catholic universities in dialogue with political and social agents” which the centre has been coordinating for three years.

This conference, with the cooperation of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, is open to everyone and there is no registration fee. Registration, which is compulsory, is still open.

Institutions involved in this area that want to be represented at the conference can have a stand near the lecture hall.
