Final Conference of the project New Methodological tools for policy and programme evaluation Financed by the EU Commission

9 November 2012

In the past two years an interdisciplinary research group has conducted work to propose and apply models to estimate the various population involved in drug using and dealing, on the basis of administrative data. The research group, in partnership with international experts and others, has also studied the drug phenomenon from a supply perspective and collected data from users and dealers. Four international workshops were organized in Rome to discuss the different issues concerning drug policy evaluation and drug estimation from both the demand and the supply perspectives and propose comprehensive indicators for evaluation purposes.

The results of the 7 workstreams will be presented and discussed in the 2013 final conference of the project. The preliminary agenda is enclosed.

For any further information and for registration please contact the organizing secretariat Dr. Carla Pietrini (pietrini@med.uniroma2.it) or visit the website of the project: www.drugpolicyevaluation.eu. Deadline for registration: January 7th2013.
