6th Regional Conference on HIV/AIDS

18 March 2012

On behalf of Partnerships in Health Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are pleased to invite you to the 6th Regional Conference on HIV and AIDS, which will be held on May 17-18 2012, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This Conference marks the continuance of the Western Balkans HIV and AIDS Programme.

The topic for this Conference is “Treatment of Co-Infections and Innovative Approaches to Prevention of HIV.” Building up on the positive experience of the past five conferences, we once again attempt to bring together representatives of civil society, industry and stakeholders, professionals working in the medical field, government institutions and politicians, and representatives of marginalized and vulnerable groups in order to maintain the momentum of our struggle against HIV and AIDS in the region.

This year’s Conference has four objectives:

  • To introduce new technologies and strategies in prevention of HIV
  • To introduce opportunities for treatment of co-infections in countries of the region
  • To review HIV epidemics in the Western-Balkans region
  • To provide a forum for exchange of knowledge, practices and experiences.
