It is assumed that 35 countries still have in place a death penalty for drugs offences. The conference will seek to bridge the abolishing of the death penalty for drug offences and how this may serve further broader abolition.
The objective of the Conference is to create a global network that works with local partners to support health care workers, policy makers, researchers and people who use drugs to increase hepatitis C prevention and care.
