
Marie Nougier

Marie Nougier is the Senior Research and Communications Officer. She is responsible for the communications and publications work stream of IDPC, and supports the IDPC Executive Director in networking and policy engagement activities.
She has been involved with IDPC since December 2008, and has provided valuable input in the drafting of the IDPC Drug Policy Guide and other key publications. Her language skills in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese have constituted a valuable asset for the development of a multilingual centre of expertise at IDPC.
Marie has a Masters’ Degree in international law, human rights and the law of armed conflicts. Before working at IDPC, she worked on issues related to compulsory drug detention in South East Asia, as well as police brutality in Western Europe.
