Asia regional harm reduction & drug policy advocacy fellowship

19 June 2017

IDPC is launching the Asia Regional Harm Reduction & Drug Policy Advocacy Fellowship Programme (the Programme), which aims to support the development of policy advocacy champions through mentoring and capacity building in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal and the Philippines. Three fellows from amongst these countries will participate in the Programme, selected against criteria demonstrating passion and commitment to policy advocacy, and potential for stimulating policy change in their existing roles and country context. The Programme this year will run from 1 August 2017 to 31 July 2018. Fellows will each be matched with a mentor possessing a strong record of advocacy in harm reduction and/or drug policy in Asia. The Programme is limited to applicants working in one of the project countries: India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal and the Philippines. Fellowship applicants should outline their proposed workplan, including objectives, expected outcomes, workplan activities and timeline with milestones, to be implemented throughout the programme year. If you wish to apply for a fellowship in this year’s programme, please send a cover letter containing the proposed workplan (maximum 2 pages), and attach your CV, to Sof Akbar (pakbar@idpc.net) by Monday 10 July 2017.
