International HIV/AIDS Alliance recruits senior policy and programme adviser: harm reduction advocacy

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance is seeking a Senior Policy and Programme Adviser: Harm Reduction Advocacy to play a lead role in the planning, development, technical oversight and delivery of a new three-year harm reduction advocacy programme funded by the European Union.This position will be based in the UK as part of the Brighton secretariat; or Asia and Eastern Europe Region.

The successful candidate will have strong strategic and programmatic experience in the Asia region, particularly in advocacy. In addition, they must have demonstrable experience in project strategy development and delivery, organisational development, and programme operational planning. S/he must also have an understanding of HIV, drug use and harm reduction in Asia.

3 year contract. Salary range £34,500 - £37,000 plus attractive benefits package. The application deadline is February 22, 2013.
