Cannabis has not been reviewed by the WHO since 1934 and much has changed since then. DrugScience produced and presented a report (alongside IDPC) which has now led the WHO to order a cannabis pre-review for CND 2018.
The Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS shines light on the specialist needs of AIDS-affected children, focusing on children of HIV-affected key populations—sex workers, transgender people,
people who use drugs, and MSM.
This week, UNAIDS met with partners to discuss ‘fast-tracking’ the international HIV response. In the sidelines, Harm Reduction International, is ringing the alarm bells for people who inject drugs, who are being left behind in global efforts to end AIDS by 2030.
Entitled "Palliative care is public health: principles to practice", this will be an opportunity for hospices, and the organisations with whom they collaborate, to share, learn and network internationally.
The congress will provide the opportunity for delegates to discuss advances in the field of palliative care, to debate how access is developing globally, to assess the integration of palliative care across healthcare systems and ultimately to affirm, change and develop our multi-professional practice.
