A new harm reduction initiative in the lebanese public health policy

A meeting was held on March 24, 2015 at the offices of the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Walid Ammar to discuss the vaccination campaign against Hepatitis B among people who inject drugs. This campaign is being launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and the Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA). Representatives of CSOs were invited to the meeting to discuss best practices for the prevention of Hepatitis B and to ensure maximum coverage of the vaccination program.
