Acción Andina – Bolivia is a platform for critical action-research on the impacts of globalisation on local populations and on the agencies for change provoked by these impacts. Acción Andina was established in 1992 as an inter-institutional network of NGO’s in Bolivia, Colombia and Peru in order to provide independent regional analysis on drugs, drug policies and related issues; and to accompany populations and grass-roots organisations in their efforts to deal with the violence and injustice brought along by both drug business and drug policies.
