Anyone's Child: Families for safer drug control launched today

14 July 2015

The war on drugs is often justified on the grounds that it protects children, young people and their families. But the evidence shows otherwise.

Launching today, Anyone’s Child: Families for Safer Drug Control is a network of families whose lives have been wrecked by the UK’s drug laws. This afternoon, they will be going to Downing Street to demand that David Cameron review the government's failed approach to drugs.

Read the families' moving stories, learn more about the harms caused by punitive drug laws, and find out how you can get involved in the campaign.

It's time to move beyond fear, discrimination and punishment, and towards drug laws that are centred around honesty, compassion and health.
