Ukrainian families of OST patients register a national advocacy network

10 April 2012

Recognizing that they will have a stronger voice as a single force, parents from various parts of Ukraine mobilized to form an all-Ukrainian network, “The Right to Life, ” to advocate for improved methadone and buprenorphine treatment.

The mandate of the network is advocacy for sustainability and expansion of OST, including expanded clinic hours, shorter waiting lists, an end to police harassment, and opening of new clinics in smaller towns and villages.
