Call for Visiting Professor - CIDE, Mexico

CIDE's Región Centro campus, located in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, is calling for submissions for the position of Visiting Professor in the area of drug policy.

CIDE (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas) is a public research center specializing in the social sciences, with undergraduate and graduate programs in Law, Public Administration, Economics, History, Political Science and International Relations. CIDE's Región Centro Campus in Aguascalientes, CIDE's first campus to be established outside Mexico City, focuses on regional and interdisciplinary studies.

This position is established as part of the incubation of a Drug Policy Program (DPP), which is planned as an independent program using an interdisciplinary approach to the study of drugs and drug policy at the local, national, regional and international levels. The selected candidate is expected to collaborate in the launching of the DPP through both participation in the collective projects that will be developed during the incubation stage as well as in developing his or her own research agenda on drugs and/or drug policy.
