The Director of Development will be responsible for developing, managing and executing the fundraising program for the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performance and a strong knowledge of best practices in fundraising, particularly in the areas of donor cultivation and donor events. This position is well suited for a strategic thinker who is also prepared to be very hands-on in all aspects of fundraising.

The Director of Development is a member of the management team and reports directly to the Executive Director. The Director of Development is supported by and works closely with the relevant staff of other units (Finance, Communications, Program Support, and Research & Policy).

 



The Global Forum on MSM & HIV (MSMGF) - Senior Communications Officer

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Senior Communications Officer works to develop the MSMGF’s brand consistency and build brand recognition among existing and potential donors and partners, both individual and organizational. He or she develops, manages, and implements communications strategies, programs, and materials to support the MSMGF’s objectives, including fundraising. He or she must also maintain the MSMGF’s commitments to information exchange and knowledge translation, helping to ensure that the global communication of advocates and organizations working for MSM health and rights has access to the information they need to do their work most effectively. Successful candidates will be collaborative, creative, and strategic. He or she will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and will be comfortable working with and communicating issues of concern to diverse global constituents.
